Math IT

Math IT is a mathematical arithmetic game app which has been designed and developed to test users’ abilities to respond to randomly generated arithmetic equations.

The game functions on a point system, tracking the number of equations the user has answered correctly whilst also timing the users response time.

Visual Design Planning

This phase of development was quite simple due to the few requirements outlined in this application’s brief. It involved the colour theme selection as well as research for a basic UI design structure with the aid of Pinterest.

FIGMA Wireframe Design

With the user requirements already established in a brief, the initial design process began with the development of a mock start-to-end interface design on Figma.

Development

Utilising Android Studio, Java was used to develop the application from the back-end. Combined with XML coding for front-end interface development, this enabled for the full development of the application including the functions and interface.
